CARHARTT CUTIES (for "uncle" Levi)

I was going through the kids clothes today...moving out old (don't fits)...bringing in new (loved hand-me-downs)...and realized that they both had a pair of Carhartt overalls that fit them...couldn't help but take a few pics.
p.s. Chad just wanted to let his sisters know that they missed out on how cute their little girls could be in a pair....because he knows he bought each of you one for your first kid;)

***Note: Pictures do not always depict what really happen. Justin let go of Jess like 3 times, one of those times she fell and hit her head on my knee and Justin was bribed to smile. At some point during the 2 mins that all I wanted to do was get 1 good picture...both kids were crying. Sometimes I hope that in my old age my memory will be like these pictures...only remember how good and cute my kids were.

THANKS NANA!!!

Nana (Chads mom) made the kids quilts for Christmas. They are so adorable that I wanted to share her talent with all of you.....

Thanks so much Tracy! Now next time we move (or re-do) decorating the kids room will be easy.....

8 Months

She waves (only while in the high chair), give great wet kisses and has her 2nd tooth coming in.

A couple years ago...when I only had one kid...my cousin and I were talking about kids falling asleep in there high chair and how ours never did that and "those" moms just didn't put their babies to bed when they were tired.....what kind of mother have I become?

The kind who tries to stuff their child before a nap:)

A Little Update

I have been slacking on the blog a bit so I thought that I would just give a quick update.

I started back to classes on Monday. It is only 1 night a week which is plenty for now. I also have been on a scrapbooking kick and feel like I am actually starting to "catch-up" even though I haven't really started Jessicas.

Chad has been busy at work. These last 2 weeks he has put in an extra 32 hours.

Justin, well, he is 3. Any of you who have had or do have a three year old know what that means...good news is that I haven't lost him in his sleep lately:) Sure glad some of you got such a good laugh out of that though (Des and Kari).

Jessica is just as the old saying goes...sugar and spice and everything nice.

WHAT...DID SANTA STEAL HIM OR SOMETHING

Before we go to bed we always check on the kids (they are so sweet when they sleep). Well, the past month or so Justin has been found sleeping anyway but normal. Not knowing what it would lead to...I have taken pictures on a few of these nights then we put him back in bed.

Christmas morning at 5:30 am Chad comes in and says " I can't find Justin." of course my reaction is something like...What do you mean you can't find Justin!!! Apparently Chad thought he heard him come out of his room and went to check and he wasn't in his bed. And so the search began...not in the bathroom or by the Christmas tree or in Nana and Papas room. Not in the closet (any of them!) or under his bed. Not in our room Not even in the Garage! I was on the verge of panic...although the whole things only lasted less then a minute.....and then the words "I found him." ............................

asleep under his tool bench w/o a single thing being knocked over. We moved the tool bench, left him there and all slept for another 3 hours. I never want to feel that sort of panic again!

Whole lotta pictures not a lotta time

I'm trying to do Christmas highlights before the new year and if I don't get that done in the next 55 min. it won't happen. So there will be a bunch of pictures (no apologies from me it was Christmas) and not a lot of words. Here we go..........
The in-laws came down from MT to spend Christmas with us. Some people not such great news...our case couldn't be more excited (helps when you've known your in-laws since you were 8). Jeff, aka the father-in-law, is a motivator and a work horse. Don't tell him but we all secretly hold on to some house projects for him to do when he comes to visit.
Rock work in yard
Fixing fence

Juicing (where there is papa and daddy there is Justin)

Filling my fridge with a ton of yummy food

Ya, pretty much Chads whole winter to-do list in 1 week! I didn't get many pictures of Tracy (sorry) but she did a GREAT job of playing "Nana" and loving, holding and playing with my kids while I tried to do as much as possible to do as little as possible.

Christmas Morning

We didn't have a "White Christmas" but we had a Wonderful (windy) Christmas. We are so glad that Jeff and Tracy came and celebrated our first Christmas in our first home with us. I have a Christmas morning scare to share but I am all out of time.
little stinker closes his eyes on purpose:)

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!
