SCUSSEL FAMILY REUNION

Last week we went up to Utah for Chads family reunion. We have been married 5 1/2 years and there was half of his family that I had never met. On the way up we decided to drive through the night. We left at 6pm and got to Provo at 6am. It actually wasn't to bad and both the kids (and Chad) did good. We had a fun time and although Chad hates to admit it (not a Utah fan) we really enjoyed being further north....honestly it was so green and pretty and there was WATER. The down side is that I am now REALLY (REALLY) home sick!!! Here are some pics...

Justin ready to go.

"hanging" out in the swimming pool. Best floaties I have ever bought.

Playing with Maisie at Dinosaur Museum.

Feeding Cow @ petting zoo (Thanksgiving Point)Chad, Jessica, and nice green grass.

At some falls...climbing up after daddy

and there is Chad climbing to the top (may not be able to see him...red shirt)

and after a long day of playing hard in the sun nothing like a little "crack" to make you smile!

Sorry there isn't more picture of Jessica. 1. she doesn't do much and 2. the only time I had her was when she cried or needed fed...luckily for me everyone loves to hold a new born:)

5 more weeks and we will be headed that way again for the Erickson fam vaca. This time I may not come back though!

*note to self...take pictures of more than just my own kid!

And This....
I don't know where the days go and by the end of the day I can't even remember if I have used the bathroom....but I love my kids and am excited for the new house (done by Wednesday...so they say)

FAMILY FUN

One of the great things about having a baby is that family comes to visit...which we love. Chads sister, Tanya, and her family came up from the valley (phoenix). I wished I had gotten a picture of all of them but really the only picture I got besides Matt and Jessica (below) was of Tanya in her swimming suite and I won't make the mistake of posting that again:) The place they stayed had an outdoor pool so we let the kids go swimming...which Justin loves.

Justin wears Chad out by jumping into the pool and having Chad catch him at least 500 times.

(long story short) Tracy was in Tucson so she caught a quick flight up to see the kids...just so happens the same weekend Jeff was in Albuquerque, NM teaching, rented a car, and drove over to help Chad paint the new house so we were able to see them (and they were able to see each other).

p.s. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Jeff for helping us paint. We NEVER would have gotten it all done in time with out you.
