CRAP....Now What?

My sweet baby girl thought the best toy in the computer room was not the big box of fun baby toys I have in here for her BUT my camera cord...Needless to say I think it has water (slobber) damage. So, I can not download any pics or the cutest little video I have of her crawling. I will figure something out soon...Promise!

Don't worry Mom we will be seeing you in 6 days...

HEAVEN HELP ME

Don't get me wrong, I love when Chad is home and has a day off. Considering that he only has 1 day off a week for the rest of the month and has been working 12-16 hr days (crazy stuff like 9am to 3am the next morning ). But I swear....
The other day I walk out into the garage and find Chad and Justin lighting matches on the garage floor. Right as I walked into the garage Justin lit one, it scared him, and he threw it underneath him about catching his pants on fire and burning his butt off. Chad was dying laughing and when he thought I wasn't looking gave Justin a high five! So...I went back into the house.
The next time I came into the garage they (meaning Chad and his son) were shooting a blow dart gun at a mattress.....

This was before Chad made a paper target (attached to the mattress) for him to shoot at.

What have I learned from all of this...NEVER GO INTO THE GARAGE ON CHADS DAY OFF!

FIRST TRIP TO THE DENTIST

When I assisted I would think all the time...I can't believe that people just don't come in for their check-ups...I know they have insurance...if they would just come in every 6 mo. like they are suppose to we could catch the problem when it was small....blah blah blah. Here I am almost 4 years later and I haven't seen the dentist. I kept blaming it on moving and that I wanted a good dentist because I know what good work looks like.....but NO MORE EXCUSES!
This was Justins first time and knowing him and his personality I totally prepped him for it. We check out kids books from the library and I told him everything to expect...squirty water, mouth vacuum, gloves, masks, spinning toothbrush ect. (just for extra measure we bribed him with ice cream on the way there)
I WAS SO PROUD OF HIM!!! A little shaky at first but he did GREAT! He even let them take x-rays. Far from what I had pictured (Justins not much for people he doesn't know... well, sometimes not even much for people he does know.. but he has definitely gotten better).

And Yes! I am that type of Mom...you know...the one who takes her camera to the dentist!
And Yes, I realized how much I missed what I use to do. Especially when I found myself walking real slow by the other rooms to see what they were doing, wanting to go through the drawers, and wishing I could clean Justins teeth my self. But I refrained from being the I-use-to-do-this-know-it-all type. Although I did peek at our X-rays when no one was in the room.

THE PROBLEM WITH HAVING A GIRL...

Every time I put her in a dress (mostly just Sundays) she is so stinking cute that I can't help but to take pictures of her...

Just noticed that the tights don't fit her well and make her legs look funny

Her Daddy was pretty handsome this day too so I had him pose with her.

ROCK ON!

We have been going out and getting river rock for part of our landscaping in our front yard. We got the permit December 1st and had 3 months before it expired. Here is some pics when we enlisted the help of our neighbor boy(and Justin's best buddy) back in December ...........

We weren't able to go in January due to snow and such but went out again this past Tues . Knowing that it was our last run before our permit was up, we planned on making 2 trips. We loaded the biggest heaviest load yet...................and look where that got us..........

COMPLETELY STUCK!!!!

Luckily for us Chad has a buddy who just lives up the road from the wash. He was gone but his wife came to try and help....no luck! So we waited for her 16 year old son to get home from school and bring their tractor down. In the mean time Chad unloaded half the rocks. The tractor got us out in 2 tries (should have left all the rock).

Luckily for us (#2) they are care taking a house where the wash runs right through their property and told us we could come get it anytime....So tomorrow it is!

And Luckily for us (#3) it was a beautiful day....T-shirt weather(Just thought I would throw that in for my MT family!)

This actually has been a great family activity and outing.....Here are my kids waiting for Daddy to get back with help...........
