OUR NEW HOME

Kids Room.

As Justin would say..."My side is blue Baby Jessicas is Pink...I like my side."

Kitchen.
(still need to paint pantry door and trim)
Living Room.
Funny how first thing to get hung on the wall is the white tail mount. I'll admit I do like it.

Those are all the house pics for now. I will do other rooms when they are more put together. I (we) are really liking it here and I can't wait to do more to the house...decorate, yard, garden, ect.

Pics That Have Been On My Camera

So my all-to-organized-can't-help-to-love-her sister-in-law put some pics on her blog what she calls her "MESS" while packing...if you want to look its the Kanenwishers...and yes they moved out of AZ back up to MT...no hard feelings for leaving us down here we will follow soon enough. Anyway...I took some pictures of our "MESS" while packing. Really most of it is just Justins mess I was just trying to get other things done to even bother.

(never buy a box of like 1000 paper clips....well come to think of it it has kept him entertained on more than one occasion and he learns all the colors while we pick up)

(so this one is my mess)

Justin was quiet the other evening (too quiet) so I thought he had peed is pants and was hiding....he was hiding in the (new) bathroom under the step but not for the reason I thought......

He had painted his finger nails (yes, pink) and was very sad when we had to take it all off. Thank goodness it didn't get on the floor!

WHERE DID THE MONTH GO?

It has been a whole month since I have posted anything. And although some days seemed super long in all this last month went by fast.... so here are some highlights (and I mean high lights because I am holding baby in 1 arm which makes typing very slow and I am ready to call it a night.)

Chad did some interesting work in California, can't talk a lot about it but this is one picture I am allowed to post. He was tired after 3 weeks of hard work but some how still came home very "relaxed" :)

And I learned how to do a few things different being the only one home....

Bath time

Baking

My mom came which was a nice break for me

Then Grandad came which was a nice break for Justin to have someone else to play with (wrestle)

Daddy came home and two days later we left for Utah/southern Idaho for Erickson family reunion. Drove all through the night again...pretty sure best way to travel with kids...spent 2 days in Layton. Went to Lagoon/Water park. I almost cried to see Justin get on the little ride all by himself. Spent the next two days in Bear Lake (Idaho side). So much fun...Justin rode on the jet ski and loved it.

Had Jessica's baby blessing. She was so beautiful in white. Loved seeing so much family and friends.

Closed on house...now the packing begins

I have more picture and promise to post more later......

Exhausted! That is the only word that comes to mind right now. Chad is in California until the 27th. I am only 2 days into this and am already...like I said....Exhausted! So I have decided with 14+ hr. days and 3 week details (when he is gone) that I am done...no more kids...I'm already getting gray hairs (no joke). We hope everyone had a Happy 4th. I took the kids to the parade and then to a firework show that night (Chad worked until midnight) but Justin and I had a good time Jessica didn't seem to mind all the noise.

Not much news on the new house. Some hold ups on the lenders...we will get there eventually.

OK...see how cute these two are....give me 3+ years on the kids comment and I might think about it!

SCUSSEL FAMILY REUNION

Last week we went up to Utah for Chads family reunion. We have been married 5 1/2 years and there was half of his family that I had never met. On the way up we decided to drive through the night. We left at 6pm and got to Provo at 6am. It actually wasn't to bad and both the kids (and Chad) did good. We had a fun time and although Chad hates to admit it (not a Utah fan) we really enjoyed being further north....honestly it was so green and pretty and there was WATER. The down side is that I am now REALLY (REALLY) home sick!!! Here are some pics...

Justin ready to go.

"hanging" out in the swimming pool. Best floaties I have ever bought.

Playing with Maisie at Dinosaur Museum.

Feeding Cow @ petting zoo (Thanksgiving Point)Chad, Jessica, and nice green grass.

At some falls...climbing up after daddy

and there is Chad climbing to the top (may not be able to see him...red shirt)

and after a long day of playing hard in the sun nothing like a little "crack" to make you smile!

Sorry there isn't more picture of Jessica. 1. she doesn't do much and 2. the only time I had her was when she cried or needed fed...luckily for me everyone loves to hold a new born:)

5 more weeks and we will be headed that way again for the Erickson fam vaca. This time I may not come back though!

*note to self...take pictures of more than just my own kid!
