READING STORIES

Just so cute I had to post. The other night Justin was reading books to Jessica. Too bad she was asleep.

THE "OFFSPRING"

One of my friends made the comment that it is a good thing Justin makes just as cute of a girl as he does a boy. I can't believe how much they look alike.

Chad has been hard at work trying to get our sprinkler system in. He is learning a lot and doing a great job.
Justin
Loves to ride his bike
We somehow went through a whole new bottle of soap in 3 baths time.
My Justin sure is something else. He will be 3 next month. He is such a big help. Here are some things that he likes to do to help mommy:
-puts his own clothes away (in there right drawers)
-unload the dishwasher
-picks out socks/pants/undies everyday and puts them on himself
-Goes through 3 pair of the above everyday but puts them in the laundry room when he has decided he was done wearing them.
-tries to feed sissy stuff like chocolate chip cookies

P.S.

My VERY talented sister hand painted these little sayings on the walls in the kids room. I LOVE them. (sorry to all the nurses at St. Johns hospital that I didn't have these posted earlier:)!!)

Jessica asleep in our closet...see its not as bad as it sounds. see previous post

And finally, Chads "work closet" I never even try to touch anything in there....I just shut the door. again see previous post

My Good Excuse

So I know that I have been a bit of a blogger slacker...but, I have a really good excuse. We have a 4th room off of our bedroom and it is the computer/scrapbooking/sewing/Chad get ready for work room (Yes, he does need his own closet for work crap...sorry...stuff. I'll blog that another day) But that room is also where I have Jessica sleeping right now. So all the good times for me to blog like nap and bedtime she is already in there asleep. So unless I remember to have her sleep in our closet (yes, I said closet) then I can't come in and get stuff done. Good Enough Excuse?

SISTER SISTER

Just when I am on the verge of getting a little homesick I some how get rescued either by a family reunion or someone coming to visit. This time it was my sister Riki. I went down to Phoenix to pick her up from the airport. You NEVER would have guessed she was from Montana getting of the plane in a big sweatshirt (it was over 100 that day). She stayed for 5 days and was such a big help with the kids...Thank You and sorry that we were never able to find a coffee shop.

Who Was I Kidding?

Just the other day...or was it a couple weeks ago?...I was saying how I kind of lucked out with Justin in that he never really got into much as a toddler. Just the usual pots and pans, tupperware, laundry etc. but nothing that was ever a huge mess like you hear of some kids doing. And now that he is almost 3 (next month...can you believe it) and out of the "toddler" stage I thought I was in the clear.
Then I walk in on this........

Yep, that is crayon on our bed. Thank goodness for Mister Clean Erasers one wipe and it was gone. And I didn't really "walk" in on it. It was more like "Mom come look what I did!" He is really good at telling on himself...very honest! And since then I have been informed that the coloring on stuff stage is in its prime between 3-4 yrs old. Lucky Me!
